Designed for Safety. Built for People.

In high-risk environments, rooms need to do more than meet standards, they need to protect lives, reduce harm and give staff the confidence to do their job safely.

Gold Medal Safety Padding is a purpose-designed, resilient padding system developed over 40 years ago to provide maximum safety with minimal maintenance. Trusted globally, it’s used extensively in high-risk environments.

What is Gold Medal Safety Padding?

Gold Medal Safety Padding is a durable, highly resilient system designed to make high-risk environments safer. It’s used in police stations, correctional centres, hospitals and mental health units to reduce self-harm, protect staff and prevent damage to property.

Unlike other materials that have been adapted to suit these environments, our padding was designed from the start for this purpose, and it hasn’t changed in over 50 years. Our formula, materials and installation methods are proven to last the life of a building.

Thousands of rooms have been installed with Gold Medal Safety Padding worldwide, and many of the originals are still in use today.

Easy to Maintain and Repair

If damaged, small sections can be repaired by onsite maintenance teams, often within 24 hours, so rooms stay in use with minimal disruption. This is a significant advantage over other materials that often require specialist repairers and significant delays. Gold Medal safety Padding is the only safety padding material that can be repaired by on site maintenance crews.
